The Baker's Grove is a neighborhood artisan bakeshop producing hand-crafted, made-from-scratch pastries, desserts, cookies & savory delights which celebrate seasonal & locally-grown ingredients.
Matthew Rosenzweig, Owner & Pastry Chef. Matthew began his baking career in 2007 at Delicious Orchards before joining the team at the Flaky Tart in 2009, working under acclaimed pastry chef Marie Jackson. He eventually took over the business as co-owner in 2015, growing the bakery and receiving many accolades, including becoming a James Beard Foundation Award semifinalist for Outstanding Baker and was awarded the Pastry Chef prize from the International Academy of Gastronomy in Paris. After closing the Flaky Tart in 2020, Matthew broke out on his own to bring you his incredible creations that celebrate seasonality & locality at The Baker's Grove. Combining his love of baking, art & nature, you are in for a real treat when you experience his beautifully crafted and flavorful sweets.
